My older sister is married to the most wonderful, charming and the kindest man in the world. He has cancer - melanoma that spread to his lungs and now his brain. As of today he is in hospice care. My beautiful older sister has been so goddamn strong throughout all of this, and this is her cause. She’s shaving her head for charity, taking part in Today FM’s Shave Or Dye 2012, to benefit the Irish Cancer Society.

Even if it’s just a dollar or a pound, please support & sponsor her; it would mean the world to all of us, our families. If you can’t, then please reblog - if we can get this post 1000 reblogs, then free cunning hat for that last person because this is the best way I can think of to support my sister. I don’t have any money, I can’t be in Ireland for her, but I can do this.

Oh, and anyone donating $30 or gets a hat too. Might take me a while to knit them up, but if you want them, you’ll get them.
